Sue Son performs Sue Son plays Violin. Sue Son - Episode 4 Britain'sGot Talent 2009. Britain's Got Talent is a British television show on ITV (also on TV3 in Ireland), and part of the Got Talent series. Presented by Ant & Dec, it is a search for Britain's next best talent act, featuring singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other talents of all ages. The show was originally planned to air in 2005 (before America's Got Talent) and be presented by Paul O'Grady. However, after O'Grady's defection to Channel 4 for The Paul O'Grady Show, O'Grady refused to appear in another ITV show, so the series was put on hold after just one rehearsal show Anyone who believed they have talent was encouraged to audition. The winner of both series received £100000 and are given the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the Royal Family. The live finals are broadcast from Fountain Studios in Wembley, which is the same studio as Britain's Got Talent's sister show, The X Factor. The show's secondary theme song is "Lux Aeterna" (originally from the movie Requiem for a Dream), which is used to create tension. The first series of the talent show premiered on 9 June 2007, and was broadcast daily with a live final on 17 June 2007, revealing Paul Potts as the first winner. The second series began on 12 April 2008. The final was aired on May 31, 2008, and was won by George Sampson. The third series began on 11 April 2009. The series made its début soon <b>...</b> |

Buddy Holly and the Crickets made an appearance on the Arthur Murray Dance Party on December 29, 1957. It was unusual to see a band like the Crickets performing on the show. This video includes the complete introduction by Kathryn Murray. Another interesting note...this footage is used on Dick Clark's "American Bandstand" compilations. Clark claims that the footage of the only appearance that Holly and the Crickets made on Bandstand in the fall of 1958 was destroyed in the 70s. They performed "Heartbeat". It's a shame that the footage was destroyed because it was Buddy's last appearance on TV before his death. |

Johnny Cash, the Man In Black, is one of the most influential musical figures of the last 50 years. His deep, resonant voice and sparse guitar style have given him an instantly recognisable sound that manages to sit somewhere between folk, rock and country. He has been awarded ten Grammy Awards and was the youngest ever inductee into the Country Hall of Fame. His music is as relevant today as it has ever been. The concert on this album (which has also been released on CD by Eagle Records) was recorded at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville in 1976. It is one of only two of his prison concerts that were filmed for broadcast. It features Cash with special guests Linda Ronstadt and Roy Clark performing a selection of their biggest hits such as Folsom Prison Blues, Orange Blossom Special, A Boy Named Sue and Ronstadts version of the Eagles Desperado.
