| Cinema Bizarre - Its Over
|
Don't go wastin' time on somethin' else
If you lose me now, I'll lose myself
Hey it's just you and me now
Hey it's just you and me now
You are circulating in my system
Takin' over my transmission
Circulating in my system
Destroying me and all my visions
I still have these pictures of you here
How can all I feel turn into fear
Hey it's just you and me now
I said hey it's just you and me now
You are circulating in my system
Takin' over my transmission
Circulating in my symstem
Destroying me and all my visions
Over over over
It's all over over over
It's all over over over
It's all over over over
You left me alone
You left me alone
You left me alone
You left me alone

Depeche Mode
New Life
( Tops Of The Pops ) 1981
Lyrics :
I stand still stepping on the shady streets
And I watch that man to a stranger
You think you only know me when you turn on the light
Now the room is lit with danger
Complicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new life
Transition to another place
So the time will pass more slowly
Features fuse and your shadow's red
Like a film I've seen now show me
Complicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new life
Your face is hidden and we're out of sight
And the road just leads to nowhere
The stranger in the door is the same as before
So the question answer's nowhere
Complicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new life
I stand still stepping on the shady streets
And I watch that man to a stranger
Think you only know me when you turn on the light
Now the room is lit, red danger
Complicating, circulating
New life, new life
Operating, generating
New life, new life |

| NIRVANA-KURT COBAIN_HOME MADE HORROR MOVIE (please reed more info for description)
|
The Horror Movies, also referred to as "Kurt's Bloody Suicide", is a home movie made by grunge singer Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and friends. It was filmed in 1984 and is composed mainly of random obscure acts such as a person getting stabbed with a fake knife and other random footage. The video is about 10 minutes long and could be classified as a horror film. The tentative title made up by people who had seen the tape was "Kurt's Bloody Suicide" this because Kurt pretends to cut his throat and wrist with a fake knife. However this is just a small clip in the film. Kurt's actual death took place in 1994. Copies of the video are circulating on VHS and DVD among fans and tape-traders.

| Video News Release : CERN announces start-up date for LHC
|
Date- 07 Aug 08. Source- http://cdsweb.cern.ch/collection/Video%20Movies
From the CERN website-
Geneva, 7 August 2008. CERN1 has today announced that the first attempt to circulate a beam in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will be made on 10 September. This news comes as the cool down phase of commissioning CERN's new particle accelerator reaches a successful conclusion. Television coverage of the start-up will be made available through Eurovision. The LHC is the world's most powerful particle accelerator, producing beams seven times more energetic than any previous machine, and around 30 times more intense when it reaches design performance, probably by 2010. Housed in a 27-kilometre tunnel, it relies on technologies that would not have been possible 30 years ago. The LHC is, in a sense, its own prototype. Starting up such a machine is not as simple as flipping a switch. Commissioning is a long process that starts with the cooling down of each of the machine's eight sectors. This is followed by the electrical testing of the 1600 superconducting magnets and their individual powering to nominal operating current. These steps are followed by the powering together of all the circuits of each sector, and then of the eight independent sectors in unison in order to operate as a single machine. By the end of July, this work was approaching completion, with all eight sectors at their operating temperature of 1.9 degrees above absolute zero (-271°C). The next phase in the process is synchronization of the LHC with the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) accelerator, which forms the last link in the LHC's injector chain. Timing between the two machines has to be accurate to within a fraction of a nanosecond. A first synchronization test is scheduled for the weekend of 9 August, for the clockwise-circulating LHC beam, with the second to follow over the coming weeks. Tests will continue into September to ensure that the entire machine is ready to accelerate and collide beams at an energy of 5 TeV per beam, the target energy for 2008. Force majeure notwithstanding, the LHC will see its first circulating beam on 10 September at the injection energy of 450 GeV (0.45 TeV). Once stable circulating beams have been established, they will be brought into collision, and the final step will be to commission the LHC's acceleration system to boost the energy to 5 TeV, taking particle physics research to a new frontier. 'We're finishing a marathon with a sprint,' said LHC project leader Lyn Evans. 'It's been a long haul, and we're all eager to get the LHC research programme underway.' CERN will be issuing regular status updates between now and first collisions. Journalists wishing to attend CERN for the first beam on 10 September must be accredited with the CERN press office. Since capacity is limited, priority will be given to news media. The event will be webcast through http://webcast.cern.ch, and distributed through the Eurovision network. Live stand up and playout facilities will also be available. A media centre will be established at the main CERN site, with access to the control centres for the accelerator and experiments limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. This includes camera positions at the CERN Control Centre, from where the LHC is run. Only television media will be able to access the CERN Control Centre. No underground access will be possible. | World Exclusive video: Time Travel Scientist Dr. Ronald Mallett, History Channel
|
For quite some time, Ronald Mallett has been working on plans for a time machine. This machine uses a ring laser and the theory of relativity. Mallett first argued that the ring laser would produce a limited amount of frame-dragging which might be measured experimentally, saying:
In Einstein's general theory of relativity, both matter and energy can create a gravitational field. This means that the energy of a light beam can produce a gravitational field. My current research considers both the weak and strong gravitational fields produced by a single continuously circulating unidirectional beam of light. In the weak gravitational field of a unidirectional ring laser, it is predicted that a spinning neutral particle, when placed in the ring, is dragged around by the resulting gravitational field.
In a later paper, he argued that at sufficient energies, the circulating laser might produce not just frame-dragging but also closed timelike curves, allowing time travel into the past:
For the strong gravitational field of a circulating cylinder of light, I have found new exact solutions of the Einstein field equations for the exterior and interior gravitational fields of the light cylinder. The exterior gravitational field is shown to contain closed timelike lines.
The presence of closed timelike lines indicates the possibility of time travel into the past. This creates the foundation for a time machine based on a circulating cylinder of light.
Funding for his program, now known as The Space-time Twisting by Light (STL) project, is progressing. Full details on the project, Mallett's theories, a list of upcoming public lectures and links to popular articles on his work can be found at the professor's UConn web page, and an illustration showing the concept on which Mallett has designed the time machine can be seen on a Geocities webpage.
He also wrote a book titled Time Traveler: A Scientist's Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality, co-written with New York Times best-selling author Bruce B. Henderson, that was first published in 2006. In June 2008, motion picture director Spike Lee's production company announced it had acquired the film rights to Mallett's book. Lee is co-writing the movie script and directing the picture.

| World Longest Cable Car,Ngong Ping 360,Hong Kong,China(5of5)
|
The corporation has adopted a continuous circulating bi-cable aerial ropeway system (a bi-cable gondola lift) for the Project. Between the Tung Chung and Ngong Ping Terminals, the 5.7 km cableway changes direction twice at the two angle stations, one on the south shore of Chek Lap Kok; the other west of Nei Lak Shan within the Lantau North Country Park.
A lot of emphasis was placed during the design development stage on harmonising the cable car development with the surrounding environment. As a result, all the terminals and angle stations are designed with unique character to blend in with the ambiance. The themed village has been designed to reflect and maintain the cultural and spiritual integrity of the Ngong Ping area, and to complement the existing attractions in the area and the cable car ride.
The cableway and the cabins come from the Leitner Group. A continuous circulating bi-cable aerial ropeway system, where the track cable acts as a rail in the sky and the haul cable pulls the cabins, allows long spans between towers. It is the first of its type to be installed in Hong Kong.
The cableway is supported by 8 towers. The cabin has a modern design with seating for 10 and standing room for another 7. It also incorporates features to meet the needs of disabled passengers, including elderly and wheelchair users. The system has a capacity of 3,500 people per hour in each direction. |

| School House Rock - Do the Circulation
|
There's a great new craze
That's sweeping the nation
Come on do the Circulation!
It starts with your heart,
What a great sensation,
Come on do the Circulation!
Out through your arteries, in through your veins,
Your heart pumps your blood, then it does it again,
So come on, everyone get it on,
Everyone, the Circulation!
So come on, everybody,
Exercise your body for circulation!
Circulation! Everybody form a circle now. (Uh-huh-huh)
Circulation! Like your blood, you just start moving around
Circulation! It's a function that's so out of sight
And if your feet fall asleep then
You're not circulating right.
You got four heart parts to pump the blood (lub dub!)
Yeah, that's circulation,
Left and right ventricle, left and right atrium,
Yeah, they do it, they circulate,
They pump blood through your lungs for oxygen,
And then your arteries take it through to your body
And your veins bring the old blood back to be renewed.
Circulation takes nutrition to your cells
And gets rid of carbon dioxide and waste as well.
Circulation, it's a function that's so out of sight,
And if your hands are cold then
You're not circulating right.
Well, your blood is such a life-giving potion,
Like a river it's always in motion,
From your head to your toes,
Doing good as it goes,
It's a big, red, beautiful ocean.
Now the blood's not bad, it's kind of special,
Yeah, come dig it! Circulation!
With these red and white corpuscle cells,
Yeah, come do it, Circulation!
Red cells carry oxygen, white cells fight the germs,
So come on, come do it, yeah, come do it, Circulation!
So come on, come do it, with your heart, come do it, Circulation!
Circulation! Everybody form a circle now. (Uh-huh-huh)
Circulation! Like your blood, you just start moving around
Circulation! It's a function that's so out of sight
So come on move around and
You'll be circulating right!
There's a great new craze that's sweeping the nation
Come on, do the Circulation!
It starts with your heart, what a great sensation,
Yeah, come do it, circulate!
Out through your arteries, in through your veins,
Your heart pumps your blood then it does it again.
Come on, everybody, get it on, everybody.
Circulation!
So come on, everybody, get it on, everybody.
Circulation!

| PreOpĀ® Coronary Artery Bypass CABG) Patient Education
|
http://www.PreOp.com
Patient ED @ 617-379-1582 INFO
Your doctor has recommended that you have coronary artery bypass surgery. But what does that actually mean?
Your heart is located in the center of your chest. It is surrounded by your rib cage and protected by your breastbone. Your heart's job is to keep blood continually circulating throughout your body.
The vessels that supply the body with oxygen-rich blood are called arteries.
The vessels that return blood to the heart are called veins.
Like any other muscle in the body, the heart depends on a steady supply of oxygen rich blood. The arteries that carry this blood supply to the heart muscle are called coronary arteries.
Sometimes, these blood vessels can narrow or become blocked by deposits of fat, cholesterol and other substances collectively known as plaque.
Over time, plaque deposits can narrow the vessels so much that normal blood flow is restricted. In some cases, the coronary artery becomes so narrow that the heart muscle itself is in danger.
Coronary bypass surgery attempts to correct this serious problem. In order to restore normal blood flow, the surgeon removes a portion of a blood vessel from the patient's leg or chest, most probably the left internal mammary artery and the saphenous vein.
Your doctor uses one or both of these vessels to bypass the old, diseased coronary artery and to build a new pathway for blood to reach the heart muscle. These transplanted vessels are called grafts and depending on your condition, your doctor may need to perform more than one coronary artery bypass graft.
Of course, operating on the heart is a complex and delicate process and in the case of bypass surgery, your doctor will most likely need to stop your heart before installing the graft.
During the time that your heart is not beating, a special machine, called a heart-lung machine, will take over the job of circulating and oxygenating your blood.
By using this machine, your doctor is able to repair the heart without interfering with the blood flow to the rest of the body.
Following surgery, your heart will be restarted and you will be disconnected from the heart-lung machine. |
