An accompanying music video will be released in January, in part as a tribute to the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. Having just returned from India after closing a deal to have their music featured in an upcoming animated Bollywood movie, The Bilz & Kashif felt they had a particular responsibility to create awareness of the effects of the on-going conflict in the region, especially on children. One Voice is something we wanted to do for global welfare, explains Vicious. Experiencing the gulf war with my family as a child was a life changing experience that I will never forget, so I felt a need to do something for war-affected kids whether in India, Pakistan, or around the world. A household name in the global Indian entertainment industry, The Bilz (producers Vicious & Master-D) and R&B pop vocalist Kashif won Best Dance Video at the Bollywood Music Awards for their Canadian record setting 2 Step Bhangra single, and they performed for over 15,000 Canadian fans at the Unforgettable Bollywod superstars tour this past July at the Rogers Centre. It won the contest because, out of all the entries, it received the highest number of views before the closing date of August 10th 2008. Thank you to everyone who has watched and shared this video. I am honoured to be the winner as there were so many other good entries for this contest. In this video, which was edited from The Alex Jones Show of 4th August 2008, Alex discusses in detail the serious issue of Internet censorship and how it is affecting us. The only winners of this censorship are the governments and corporate oligarchies who want to severely restrict our freedom of speech and our ability to acquire factual information from independent news sites. If you sit by and do nothing about the info you hear in this video, you are effectively kissing goodbye to the Internet as we know it. By 2012, the 'powers-that-be' plan to turn the Internet into nothing more than a glorified cable TV system where access to anything other than mainstream sites will be highly restricted - just like in communist China today. We cannot allow this to happen. Only the power of the people can stop this. If we fail to voice our views on this issue NOW, the Internet as we know it will be gone forever and important sites like InfoWars.com will not be there for us anymore. Copy and paste the articles and email them to everyone you know, including the mainstream news sites. Post the articles on MySpace and as many other forums as you can. Once the Internet is gone, it's gone forever, and there won't be any complaints departments to complain to when you want the old Internet back. The time to take action is NOW. I tried to squeeze as much into this video as possible, but I had to omit some really important stuff - such as the interview with Paul Watson - who details some of the communist-style Internet censorship that is taking place in the UK right now, and the fact that many universities, libraries and train stations in the UK, are now restricting access to REAL news sites such as Infowars.com. I for one will not sit by and allow this to happen. I don't want to get all my news from the likes of CNN, Fox and the BBC. I want to expand my world view, not limit it. This is a serious call to action folks. We have now reached a huge crisis point in terms of our freedom of speech and our freedom to access information from non-corporate sources. We can either do nothing and just watch the Internet being dismantled before our very eyes, or we can take action now and salvage what's left of the Internet as it stands today. If everyone who watches this video rates it and shares it with their YouTube contacts, we can make our voices heard and together we can save the Internet. All it takes is for everyone to do SOMETHING, no matter how small. Check out my profile for all the other songs:) "Seek & Destroy" is the ninth track on Metallica's 1983 album Kill 'Em All. It was written by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. The song has been frequently played in concerts over the years since its live debut in 1982. The song has become a fan favorite and has been played at virtually every Metallica concert since the band's inception. It is sometimes played as a closing number for their live performances, with James often asking the audience to sing along with him when he shouts, "Seek and destroy!" The most memorable renditions of the song occurred during the years 1991, 1992 and 1993 for the Wherever We May Roam Tour. Here Seek & Destroy was played with Jason Newsted singing vocals, however at the end of the song the band would commence in a jam for a few minutes until James took the microphone and continually had the audience sing the lines "Seek and destroy!" Hetfield also went to the edge of the barriers holding off the crowd and got them to sing the lines individually. The song length went from an average of 7 minutes to an average of 16 minutes for the elongated concert version of the Black Album tour. On the band's 2007 Sick of the Studio '07 tour it became a regular closing song at the end of the band's set. The song is about feeling the urge to kill. It can be inferred from the lyrics that it's not senseless killing but as revenge to someone that very much deserved it. It is said to be heavily influenced by the Diamond Head song "Dead Reckoning". A performance of the song with Cliff Burton on bass in 1985, is available on the DVD Cliff 'Em All. Newer live versions can also be found in the Live Shit box set (with Jason Newsted singing the lead vocal) and the Cunning Stunts DVD. This was also the theme song of former WCW and current TNA wrestler Sting and AAA wrestler Cibernetico. In Sting's case, the song was a live recording from Woodstock '99. Kirk Hammett has since confessed and apologized for the unusual pitch of the string bend which occurs at 3:46, during the solo, is in fact a mistake or "bum note". During the documentary film about Metallica, Some Kind of Monster, the song is used when footage of the band down the years is shown highlighting the progression in the band's appearance and sound over time. In the book Metallica: This Monster Lives one of the film's directors said how initially they wanted to alter the footage so it flowed smoothly but soon noticed the value of showing the alteration in the band in each piece of footage. The song has been covered by Chuck Billy, Jake E. Lee, Jimmy Bain, and Aynsley Dunbar for the album Metallic Assault: A Tribute to Metallica. The song has also been covered by thrash metal band Testament and instrumentally by Freaklabel as part of a tribute medley.
