acid jam - machinedrum + mpc4000 + alpha juno + futureretro

	paste &fmt=18 at the end of this page's URL to get the stereo version 4am acid synthesis jam finally got a few things hooked up nicely. gear used = elektron machinedrum sps-1 (non-UW) Mk2, FutureRetro Revolution on the 303 bassline, roland mks-50 alpha juno rack, waldorf microwave2, akai mpc4000 for sequencing the mks and waldorf. When i turn to my left I'm leaning over to grab the sliders and knobs on a novation remote zero sl which is being used to control the mks-50. It was fairly easy to get that thing programmed for sysex control of the mks. The only thing I don't like is the steppyness of the filter sweep(s) which is caused by the lack of midi resolution. This is easily confirmable when you route the mks's lfo to sweep the filter and it's perfectly smooth. I'm wishing the mks was easily moddable with some cv inputs. Kamoni Plays a Set with a Machinedrum and Monomachine

	A friend came by the studio the other day and caught me rehearsing my latest live set. He happened to have his camera handy so we got some raw footage for ya! A lot has changed over the past year both stylistically and functionally. I'm now using a drumKat controller and 2 Elektron synths (the Machinedrum & Monomachine). There's no longer a computer in the mix as I program everything between these two synths and the drumKat. (tech info) The drumKat allows me to cycle between notes and chords. I can also play alternating percussion voices from the Machinedrum. These are further augmented by changing parameters controlled by the unit's LFOs which are constantly cycling. 	quick . I show the instrument machines, M2 and M3 are prerecorded tweaks into CTRL-AL machines. At one time I switch into classic mode, that wasn't quite intentional at that point but that's a sweet trick as well. Else the standard muting/unmuting of tracks, as well as some FUNCTION+Param tweaking on filter and SRR.
