| Race Driver Grid: Menu Music
|
Race Driver: Grid Trailer Music: Queen of Stone Age - No One Knows (Unkle Remix)
Developer: Code Masters
Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX 360, DS
Race Driver: GRID is the latest addition to the TOCA Touring Car series by Codemasters, published and developed by the same company. It was announced on April 19, 2007, and will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, as well as Windows PCs. The game is due for release in June of 2008.[1]
Race Driver: GRID will make use of Codemasters own Ego engine, an evolved version of the Neon engine already used in their previous release Dirt. The damage code is said to have been completely rewritten to allow for persistent damage environments.[2] GRID is also said to feature "the most extensive range of events in the TOCA Race Driver series, combining official circuit-based championships with road races and urban street competitions." |

| Dragon Ball Z DVD Box Volume 1 Menu
|
From my Dragon Ball Z DVD Box Volume 1 DVD set.
The DVDs open with the a little Dragon Box Z animation. The main Dragon Box logo first flies onto the screen, followed by the "A journey that began long ago..." text, which materializes itself underneath. The entire logo then bumps up, and the text "Presented By Shuueisha, Fuji Television, and Toei Animation" appears.
The main menu is actually quite complex in presentation. There is a large green scouter over the screen, and in it you are given the options of "All Play", "Story Mode", and "Episode Select". "All Play" obviously just plays all the episodes in order, while "Story Mode" plays all episodes, but removes the openings, endings, and previews. In the top right corner of the scouter is a video of Son Goku fighting Vegeta, which you can also see playing behind the scouter over the entire TV screen. The audio for the menu is actually the audio from this particular fight. There is also a video of Piccolo fighting Cell kind of camouflaged into the bottom left corner of the scouter, as well as a static image of Super Saiya-jin Son Goku clashing with perfect Cell to the right. The episode menus use the same scouter design, except with a fight between Saiya-jin Son Goku and Freeza raging in the background. Once again, the audio for the menu is the actual audio from the fight.
Although the menus are very unique, they are unfortunately all the exact same, with the exception of disc 26. It instead uses a completely static and silent menu. |
