dialogue: [Seth:] "Now, rumor has it, according to our Bartender's menu that you are the 'spirit of New York'... take off your heels - is that true?" [Idina:] "Yes, actually, Lenny taught me how to be a good waitress! *laughs* He taught me how to whip the little people into line!! *laughs louder!* He told me, um, wait I've told this story... 'Cause old people are really mean to you on those things. And if you lecture them and you speak to them firmly, then they get really nice, so instead of being all 'Oh, I'm so sorry!' to ... *like angry old people* 'I said DECAF instead of caffeinated!!' You say *firmly* 'Ma'am! I'm working very HARD here! No you calm down and you give me a minute!' [Idina:] "I don't know, they did so many--I mean, I found out that they used to have like, people in body-bags at the end singing "Life of the Party" to like... a DEATH march! Like *deep, manly voice* 'Dontcha wanna be. The life of the party.'" [Seth:] "Really?" [Idina:] "Like Burrs and Black were dead and... like weird things." [Seth:] "Yeah, but I thought that she was electrocuted!... It was a TOTAL downer! At the very last beat or two, it was just 'BUM! BUM! Electrocution!!" |
