FYI, a warning to those who get romantic ideas and wish to run off to the 'austere' and traditional Monastic Life depicted in this film at Gethsemane, Kentucky who's images are primarily from the late 1950s/:
the 'Order of Cistercians of the STRICT Observance' (Trappists),unfortunately no longer since the Council (well,1967-71), live like you see in this video from Gethsemane,having greatly changed since...the title 'Strict',in interpretation of the Rule of St. Benedict, in the title, no longer really applies to them ,and are -practically- no different from many common observance Benedictines.(except the Horarium/vegetarian, of course)and definitely no longer celebrate with Gregorian Chant or Classic Liturgies
