Rush Subdivisions - Multi-Nation Virtual Band Cover
|
This is a cover of the opening track, Subdivisions, of the 1982 album, Signals. It was made by the co-ordinated effort of four musicians spread over four different countries, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany and the USA.
The cover you hear has a backing track switched in (at a very low level) during the vocals only, we felt that without the vocals the overall effect of the video itself wasn't as good as that with vocals.
Although we realise we will never be able to completely emulate the fantastic music produced by the source of our inspiration (Rush), we sincerely hope you enjoy our cover and that it also inspires you to go out and buy the CD and/or pick up an instrument and learn the song for yourself.
Anyone who is inspired by this video, please leave a comment and let the world know.
We will also upload an instrumental only mp3 version (audio only) in the near future without backing track.

Multi-Joint Exercises For Building Muscle Mass

This Multi Joint Mass building program will give you the overall body mass and strength you are looking for.
This program is best performed no more than twice per week leaving at least 72 hours between workouts. Warm ups if needed should be performed with a very light weight, executing a full range of motion for that particular exercise.
Form is priority number one. Follow the sequence on the video, Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, Close Grip Tricep Presses, Over head Barbell Press, Pull-ups and as a break weighted sit ups and finally Dips, weighted if possible. Three sets of each exercise should be performed and each set should contain at least 6 reps and no more than eight reps and that's to failure.
Give yourself at least three months with this routine and you will notice an increase in overall body mass. This is a time when you need to be concentrating on efficiency in the gym and then recuperating properly and of course eating correctly.

Canon Rock New version with a twist.. Multi-style Medley
|
This is my special multi-style medley version of "Canon Rock". It's in five different parts: Classical, rock, jazz, country and fast rock.. All guitar and bass parts were played, recorded and mixed in Cubase SX (the drum parts were made with EZ drummer), and the video is filmed afterwards with me playing to the recorded track so I might have hit the odd wrong notes if you watch closely.. Also, picture and sound may not be perfectly synchronized, hope it's not too annoying.
The piece itself is originally based on Johann Pachelbels "Canon in D" from around 1700, but especially the rock parts of my version are similar to Jerry C's famous "Canon Rock" version.
Watching some of the hundreds of different versions of "Canon Rock" on YouTube (some good and some not so good..) inspired me to do my own version, but with a little twist to it. I didn't want to be just another Jerry C "copycat". Instruments used: Yamaha APX-5NA nylon-string, Burns Brian May signature, Eastwood Savannah semi-hollow, Eastone Banjo, Fender "Nashville B-bender" Telecaster, Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom and Ibanez "Jazzbass" (for the bass parts).
Pedals and stuff; V-stack BHM guitar preamp pedal, Boss PS-5 Harmonizer (for the harmonized melody parts), Boss DD-6 Delay (most notably on 2:58-3:07, where I use it for the "Albert Lee" echo effect), Boss RV-5 Reverb, Behringer CS100 compressor plus some effects, EQ etc. added in Cubase SX.
