READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING:
I can't change the way the video is presented, and I am not going to. I thought I would change the description. I rented the ECV for $40 because I have a birth defect in my feet that results in certain bone groups in my feet to have been fused together as I grew up. Doctors wouldn't perform surgery until I was fully grown because they didn't want to make mistakes that would lead to further disability. Once they determined that I had stopped growing, they determined that surgery would not really help the situation. As I stand here typing this at my computer desk, I am already in pain after moments of logging in. If I continue on my feet regardless of walking, running or just standing around, I develop a cycle of time where the pain increases the longer I stand. This makes exercise (standing) excruciatingly painful and I have shied away from it most of my life. Add to all of this the separate issue of fybro myalgia which was thought to be rheumatoid arthritis until a few years ago, which the stress of the pain in my feet triggers, plus humidity and too much sunlight (wierd but true) and my pain level goes through the roof. Even sitting in the ECV all day did not alleviate my discomfort, I was still tired, dehydrated and sore at the end of the day.
My comment about not needing a medical condition or to declare one is true. No one asked why I needed it. I don't think they can without risking all sorts of discrimination and privacy issues related to those with disabilities. It's not that I don't have a condition, just that they didn't ask. They took my money and handed me keys.
And as far as getting to the head of certain lines faster, that depends on the ride. I know that 'It's Small World' has a separate ramp down to the boats for ECV's and wheelchairs. There are other rides similar but I don't remember them. All other rides have you park the ECV outside and you wait with everyone else. Which I was happy to do because the ECV already took out the pain of wandering around.
